Hello. I got my Sakura Bloom ring sling when my daughter was around a month old she is now six months. I do like the sling and like that it is adjustable and it being beautiful doesn't hurt either. However, i find it had a steep learning curve and i still have trouble sometimes getting my daughter to be comfortable and not feel like she is sliding down. She liked it when she was younger when i could keep her legs in the fabric newborn hold i think, she would go to sleep while I did chores. Now that she is older, i find with her legs out I am constantly adjusting her. I just recently started to wear her on my hip in the sling and this I have found to be the best carry for us. Once she gets too heavy tho I will have to get a more ergonomic carrier as it will be uncomfortable with such a heavy load! I never was able to master nursing in the this sling which was disappointing. My daughter would wiggle and try and break out of the fabric around her but this could just be her preference and may work well for someone else.
Overall, i will be ordering a new carrier as she puts on the pounds something like the Boba or Beco but I did like this sling when she was a newborn and for the hip carry. Also, it was great that i could just stuff it in my purse and go!

I bought the linen sakura ring sling for an "at-home" sling for my 6 week old. I also have an ergo w/ infant insert that I like better for longer walks, but it is a bit bulky and very warm indoors with the insert. it took me a little while to get the hang of the tightening but now I like it a lot - it is a miracle to have two hands to make a sandwich or check the mail! I do find I still need to provide some head support if she is not asleep though it often puts her to sleep. for now she is still going legs in. I learned that if you tie it too low on your body it is more uncomfortable, but it's better if I make sure it is higher. though I bought it for primarily indoor or short walk use, I think the fact that I can get it on and off so quickly will also make it good for use at the airport if I don't have the stroller. I really like the sling, the fabric is gorgeous and I love the color blush, but I do think for longer walks especially as she gets heavier I will stick with the ergo or another carrier that distributes the weight on both sides. it's great to have multiple options for different needs.
