Infant Insert for ERGO - Heart to Heart ERGO Infant Insert The Heart-to-Heart ERGO Infant Insert is now available in high performance fabric as well as in cotton and Organic cotton, there is an infant insert to go with any ERGO carrier! The Performance Infant Insert has an exterior of cooling, breathable black mesh with a smooth sateen rim . The liner is a soft, light wicking knit in Charcoal. It is 100% polyester. This insert coordinates perfectly with the Performance line of carriers and will look great with the Sport carriers as well, but can be used with any ERGO carrier to support and nurture your baby. The cotton fabrics are: Natural and Galaxy print (swirly grey and cream), Organic Beige and Organic Silver. These were designed to coordinate with the Standard and Organic ERGOs. This ERGO insert allows for newborns to be held in a heart-to-heart upright position. This position is very natural for both parent and baby and is especially helpful for infants with gas or reflux. The Heart-to-Heart insert has a small bolster at the bottom to provide support for baby's spine and pelvis and also to mitigate the wideness of the ERGO's base until baby is big enough to be comfortable with legs spread that widely. Strap allows you to position baby baby comfortably into the insert, strapped in, and then placed into the carrier.
