Unfortunately, no one has yet invented a baby carrier with an air conditioner feature, but when they do, we'll be the first ones to sign up. Until then, the bottom line is that wearing your baby in hot weather is going to be, well, hot! That being said, we do have some tips for babywearing in the heat, sun and water.
- Dress baby lightly in loose, breathable fabrics.
- Choose back and hip carries over front carries when possible - they feel cooler and both of you will sweat less.
- Consider a carrier with UV protection like the Moby Wrap with UV protection (in Sand or Turquoise) or the Gypsy Mama Water Wrap.
