As I predicted in my last post about SB colors for Fall,, Sakura Bloom has added a few new colors to their Fall 2015 lineup!
Sakura Bloom always has amazing fabrics, and this season’s lineup is no exception. We’re seeing some lovely new colors in the Chambray line and the return of some classic SB colors in the Classic line – they’ve been missed!
The most dramatic new color is definitely the Black Cherry Chambray. A gorgeous juicy berry, cross woven with black, Black Cherry is sweet with a hint of an edge. This is a stunning color for Fall/Winter, and would look great for holiday babywearing, too. Like all Chambrays, Black Cherry is a double layer of linen.
The new Twig Sakura Bloom Chambray is very much of a piece with SB’s gorgeous neutral palette. Twig is a crossweave of two staple Sakura Bloom colors: driftwood and cream. The result is a textured neutral that is subtle but never boring.

Lastly, SB is bringing back two of the most popular SB colors: Storm and Driftwood. Storm is a dark gray and Driftwood is a dark taupe with gray undertones. Previous iterations of Driftwood were more olive in color, but this run brings Driftwood back to a brownish-gray, without the green. Both Classic Linen slings are a single layer of linen.

Is black currant black or blue ?
Hi Alex! Black currant is somewhere between black, blue and gray.
Which is the closest to a true gray? Marin? Twig? Or is twig a beige color? I would love a true gray without other color undertones.
Hi Erin, I would call Marin the closest to a true gray. Unfortunately, it hasn’t been available for a few months so we are out of stock.
