Kol Kol Meh Dai ergonomic baby carriers are East Asian-inspired, soft-bodied carriers. These carriers have a contoured cotton or linen body panel, generous waist straps, and hybrid padded shoulder straps that open out into full wrap width. This means you get the even weight distribution of a wrap shoulder with the comfort of a padded shoulder!
These lightweight carriers are made out of natural fibers, making them great for use in all climates, including hot weather. They can be used in front, hip and back carries as well as front facing forward carries.
We love the Kol Kol Meh Dai because:
they have a minimalist, natural feel that is great for people who don’t love bulk or buckles
they can be adjusted down for use with an infant and up for use with bigger kids
the hood supports your child’s head but also looks pretty hanging loose
the wide shoulder straps can be spread out to mimic the feeling of a wrap on your shoulders
they do a fantastic high back carry to allow your little one to peek over your shoulder
they come in two sizes so they are a great fit for most babywearers
they are a great value

Meh Dai have previously been called Mei Tais in the US. Recently, the US babywearing community has been made aware that this is an inaccurate spelling based on the pronunciation of the words in their original language. The accurate and culturally appropriate spellings are Meh Dai and Bei Dai. Go here for more information.
We recommend spot cleaning your Kol Kol Meh Dai (and any baby carrier) when practical. When you do wash your meh dai carrier, hand wash separately in cold water and do not soak for long times. Do not wring. Hang dry in the shade.
