The CMA Babywearing Team Reviews: Sakura Bloom silk mini review

Today’s mini review is by CMA Team member Katie Towers.  Katie was already a long-time fan of Sakura Bloom ring slings but it had been a while since she’d had a brand new silk sling to play with.  She writes:

Have I mentioned how much I love Sakura Bloom silk slings? I used to specifically seek out the buttery-soft broken in silk slings (or I’d wash them immediately, which is totally safe to do with SB’s), but with a wiggly, 22 pound baby who pops seats like nobody’s business, I am appreciating the structure and support of a brand new sling.

Sakura Bloom silk slings are often described as feeling “crunchy” out of the box. And while that crunch does mean the sling is a little less soft, it also means I can comfortably carry even my 4.5 year old! And for those who doubt the everyday use of a silk sling, we wore ours to Hatch’s soccer game today. Spot clean to keep the crunch, or throw it in the washing machine to soften it up!

Editors note: washing Sakura Bloom slings changes their look and feel.  See this blog post on Sakura Bloom fabrics for more info.
