Sakura Bloom silks are my absolute favorite baby carriers for the holidays. Of course they are beautiful, making any outfit prettier, but they are also super practical. Silk is super lightweight and (the slings weigh less than 8 oz.) but it’s also strong enough to hold a heavier baby or toddler. Plus, ring slings are both cuddly and super easy to pop baby in and out of. There is so much excitement at the holidays, I find kids want to get up and down a lot (up to get away from too much excitement, down when they are ready to get back into it). Littler ones may get passed around between relatives, but then want to hop back in to cuddle with mom or dad.
So of course I am thrilled that we have two new Sakura Blooms silks to show you, just in time for the holidays. While very different, these are both absolutely lovely!
First up is Garnet, which is THE perfect holiday red.
Garnet would be absolutely amazing with pretty much any holiday outfit!
Wisteria is also beautiful but in a cool, reserved way. Wisteria is a very light, icy purple. It’s pretty hard to capture on film. I see Wisteria looking great with neutral and simple outfits.
I also took several shots of the silks next to some of our other red/purple/pink Sakura Bloom silks, for comparison purposes.
